finished watching "Change" last night. love the sound track. love the ending theme, "miles away" by madanna no less, i haven't liked her songs since the 90's... that's kinda sad. but it's a good song and i wonder why she didn't promote it in the usa, hm... ???
and seriously, the opening credits scene with the pic of japan's parliment [i think] and the flag, i swear the music is Star Trek... it's been a while since i've seen the series, but i keep thinking Star Trek: Enterprise, though i'm sure it's more like Star Trek: Voyager or Deep Space Nine... [the fact that i can tell the three series apart kind of disturbs me]

i find it funny how americans [at least political figures] are portrayed in asian dramas :D at least in this one, the guy was less offensive in the end.
Hiraizumi Sei looks so familiar but i can't tell where i might have seen him in... i looked at his profile, but i've never seen any of his other works, well, the ones that i could make out...
this reminds me of the little polyps at ursula's garden in "little mermaid". can't find a pic for reference but who hasn't seen the "little mermaid"

i was so surprised to see Suzuki Kosuke here.... i could not take him seriously b/c of "liar game" and his mushrrom head... i've offically nicknamed him the happy mushroom :D
seriously, how can you take him seriously after you seen him with that mushroom head? oh and the ascot and flowery shirts!!!!
i don't know if i should be yelling "kiss!!! kiss!!! kiss!!!" or "AH!!!! personally bubble!!!!"

Abe Hiroshi was just so creepy here... he was great. he reminded me of [ah can't remember his name] the mechanic guy in "zetta kareshi"
he has a scene where he's half naked in a towel, uber creepy :D ^^^^
he was just so happy here :D look at that kind of off-putting, unsettling, but yet happy smile.
i liked the drama. loved Kimura Takuya as Asakura Keita. he was great as the anit-hero who is forced into a world he despised and loathed. Fukatsu Eri as Miyama Rika is definitely one of those women best used in the phrase "behind every great man is a great woman". Kato Rosa as Miyamoto Hikaru was refreshing and not so clingy that made me cringe. it was a great plot line about how a young idealistic man has to deal with beauracracy and politics and tries to give hope to those who has lost faith in the government [ie, me sometimes... dam government classes, even tho, my first gov class i loved b/c of my cute pouty prof :P]
