Untitled Super Junior AU FanFic
AUTHOR: bethieboo1688
GENRE: Drama
RATING: PG-13
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN ANYBODY, esp not SUJU or DBSK which is a darn shame.
PAIRINGS/CHARACTERS: all of SUJU and DBSK and possibly more since this story is still underworks, Kangin/LeeTeuk, Hankyung/Siwon, some hints of Siwon/Heechul, Henry/Ryeowook, Ryewook/Yesung, Kyuhyung/Sungmin, Sungmin/Shindong, Donghae/Kibum, Jaejoong/Changmin
BACKSTORY: In a time long ago, there used to be a strong, big, prosperous and peaceful country called SUJU, but an wise King, who loved both his sons, could not decide on who to give the crown to.  The two brother feuded against each other, breaking the King's heart.  To bring peace back to his kingdom, he split the land in two - one for each to rule over.  However, the bitterness and rivalry continued even after the King's death.  The eldest brother kept the name of SUJU while the younger one changed it to MUJUS [SUJUM backwards].  After years of battle over miscellaneous things, the two country is now experiencing a terrifying calm.  Will the two brother countries ever find peace and harmony together?  Or will a defining battle finally rule out the victor.
NOTES: I just thought it would be interesting if SUJU were in the olden days.  I posted my thoughts and then shioko_ibuka thought up the idea of cutting and pasting Siwon's face on Princess Peach and from the way I phrased my sentences [because I'm new to slash, I didn't know if the guys were still guys or we can call them girls in slash] she thought it would be great if Donghae were a hermphrodite.  So I figured since I was gonna write it anyways, why not share this terrible story for everyone.  It's rather lacking in skills, but I was up until like three writing it, so yeah, I know it's not great.

Introduction      Chapter 1

[LJ cut is on the fritz]

Introduction

The rain pelted the roof shingles of an off road inn with a harmonious beat.  The innkeeper danced slowly with his wife in the empty and dark dining hall.

“Kibum,” the wife called her husband.

“Yes, my Donghae fishie?”

“The children are asleep and we have no customers,” she whispered breathlessly in his ear.

“You never know.  Someone might come in, seeking shelter from this storm.”  He slowly backed away from her advances.

“It is plum picking season; everyone has headed east,” Donghae pointed out with a hint of desperation.

Kibum gave up his argument and hurriedly followed after Donghae to their bedroom.  Just as he was about the shut the door so they won’t disturb the children, the front door banged open.  Donghae whined as Kibum went back out to greet the customer.

“Welcome, stranger.  How may I help you?”

“It’s crazy out there.  I’m going to need a room for the night.”  The guest threw off his soaking straw raincoat on the floor.  Kibum watched with great dissatisfaction knowing that he will have to clean that up later since Donghae would not be in the mood to do it.

“Yes, of course.  That will be twenty shillings.”

“Twenty shillings!  Are those sheets meant for the Duke?”

“Our inn is famous in town.  Go ask anyone,” Kibum was insulted.  “And we’re also the only inn within a five meter radius.”

“Very well.  I’ll take a room.  I’d also like a hot bath and a nice meal for one.  Can someone help bring my horse to the stables?”

“Here you go.  Your room is the first one on the left.  My wife had just changed the sheets, so it is fit for a duke.  I’ll call you down once your bath is ready, Mr.”

“Call me Yoochun.”

Two incense time later, Yoochun came out to the dining hall where a warm table of food was waiting for him.

“My wife is actually a pretty good cook, but unfortunately that’s all she can do,” Kibum winked over at Donghae as she placed two cups and a bottle of wine on the table.

“I’ll go check on the children,” she kissed him goodnight.

Kibum poured them both a drink.  “This is one of my best bottles.  It should warm up those tired bones and help you sleep.  So, what do you do, Yoochun?”

“I am a wondering doctor.”

“Really?  That’s great.  You know, I once had the famous Imperial Doctor, Heechul, stay here.”  Yoochun was obviously impressed.  “He helped with my marriage to my beloved.”

Yoochun asked for him to talk.  It took little convincing to get Kibum to start his tale.  Donghae listened in the kid’s bedroom and rolled her eyes.

“My friend, be prepared to be thoroughly entertained.  This story has love, hate, war, brothers fighting brothers, runaways and scandalous elopements that all ends with a happy ending,” Kibum giggled, a little tipsy from the wine.
