Not guilty by reason of obscurity
Tonight, driving home on Route 30, 2 dogs jumped through a break in traffic to cross the road. This always upsets me, even when nobody gets hurt, because my mind jumps ahead to what I believe is going to be the inevitable tragedy.
I turned to Bob and asked, "Who lets their dogs out like that???" He looked at me and asked, "Wait, did you really just ask who let the dogs
out?"
Yes. Yes, I guess I did. And I'm a little ashamed.
In other news, 2 job interviews this week. One is tomorrow at 9:00 a.m., technically now the "ass-crack" of dawn, seeing as I've been unemployed for several months and have been keeping very loose hours. Time to turn off the light, snuggle with a cat or 10, and get ready.
