Over 1000 songs!
I am in such a good mood today! And it's totally weird because I've done absolutely nothing today, except listen to songs. There's about 1238 songs on my iTunes thanks to the 500 that I put on over the week. Still haven't got through all the songs I put on last weekend. Whatever! They're all so good!
Lately I've discovered new songs and bands that are simply the best. Like The Chemical Brothers, White Stripes, Beatles, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Gaslight Anthem, and Tom Waits. I've got a seriously varying music taste. I'm pretty much into anything... except RnB. Black Eyed Peas aren't so bad, but not at all into Dubstep and... whatever's in the charts right now I guess. Haha!
Daft Punk - my favourite band. And holy damn, they composed the whole Tron soundtrack and the single they've released, Derezzed, is absolutely amazing! I can't get it out my head! The only reason I'm going to see the Tron movie is because Daft Punk made the songs and they're starring in it! Haha, just kiddin. But it's only partly the reason.
Today I've got a lot of old music. My friends always tease me for my old fashioned music taste because I usually listen to stuff that's a few years old. To me that's not even old fashioned. 80s and 70s is old. And what's wrong with that? Just because they're old, doesn't make it any worse. They're classics! Jackson 5, Chaka Khan, Chic, Billy Ocean, Barry White and the like are just as popular now as they ever were. Especially the Beatles since they're albums are put onto iTunes, they're supposed to be in the charts soon enough.
So I'm having a great Sunday. Even though it's miserably cloudy and there's nothing really going on, good music can really pick up a good mood.
