Do you ever suddenly, completely by accident, start listening to music you had completely forgotten about and it makes you insanely happy? That happened to me last night. Stuff like that happens to me a lot whenever I see dah boyfriend, because we've known each other for so long and we have many of the same memories from school/band.
He started playing the theme from the movie "The Cowboys". Which we played for our last concert last year. When we started playing the music in band boyfriend and I decided to watch the movie. And I fell in love with it.
And promptly forgot about it over the summer.
Hearing the music again made me incredibly happy. There is no explanation for it, but hearing the music puts me over the moon nonetheless.
In other news, I *finally* got him to let me buy him a pair of jeans! And he says he likes them and will actually wear them. ...At least when he's with me. It's a start. And I'm thrilled.
