What a lark! What a plunge!

What a beautiful day. I spent all of what should have been physics recitation just sitting outside (in part because I was rooted in spot by the weight of all my prints). And a dog came up and tried to eat my lunch, and birds started yelling at eachother in the tree I was under, and everything seemed more awake than it had ever been during the winter. Even in the basement of hunt library you could tell. I just got my info packet for my summer job as TA at CTY, and now I'm looking forward to it. Even though it means I will be exiled to Bristol RI for six weeks (with weekends free, so that I can explore the urban mecca of Bristol and its environs), I think it'll be fun. There's nothing like the ultimate power trip that comes with teaching...

Current Leisure Activity of Choice: Looking out my window to the parish center of St. Paul's Cathedral, and admiring the art (and trying to decipher the writing) that kids leave on the windows. There's a beautiful bird (with an enormous beak for its size), and several flowers, reportedly by "SHELBY".
Current Music (in my head - does anyone have a copy?) The Bear Necessities, from The Jungle Book
