I had such good intentions for the day. I didn't really get any of the things done that I wanted to, but it was still a nice day off. I made an appointment to interview tomorrow with the CADL for a temporary full time job. I also told the other chick at the LSJ that I need to hold off for a week. See, because if I get the CADL temp job, there's no way I can do the LSJ job at the same time. So... I need to wait and see if I get the CADL job or not before committing to the LSJ job. Cause really, I can't turn town full time work even if it's only for 6-8 weeks. If she can't wait a week, then the job just wasn't meant to be and I'll find something else. Plus, I'm probably more likely to get into another retail job now that I have one on my resume. Before it was always, "Do you have any retail experience?" and when I said no they'd send me away. And seeing that we're going into the Holiday Season, stores will be hiring Seasonal help. We'll see... I'm feeling rather positive about the CADL thing so I'm going with the positiveness. :) Not to toot my own horn, but of all of the interviews I've ever been on in my life, there were only two where I didn't get the job. So my track record with interviewing is pretty darn good. It's just getting an interview that's been the problem lately. Trivia Fact of the Day: Did you know that the unemployment rate in Michigan is 3% higher than the rest of the country right now? Yay, Michigan! :op The State of Michigan is literally on the verge of shutting down because they're already SO over budget for the fiscal year that begins next week.
In other news, Mom, Heather, Sheila and I are beginning Opperation Get Skinny this weekend. So tonight on Mom's break between classes she and I went to PF Changs for a sinful dinner and dessert before we can't do that anymore for a while. :) It was fabulous. :)
*stares at tv in confusion* What? What? I thought... What? Yeah, Ugly Betty has me totally confused already and it's only been on for 10 minutes. LOL I think I need to pay more attention. So I'm off... happy S.H.I.T. day.
