So Christmas break so far has been pretty productive. It was a sad goodbye in Ms. Watson's class, but I think I'll convince Alex to join our SH for next semester when he calls me back. I really hope Chris delivered my promised letter to him. Speaking of Chris, he's basically the coolest person ever. He outsmarted McWherter Monday and it was beautiful. I will put no more details, but he should probably be awarded a prize. I told him today that he has really awesome taste excluding the whole Duke thing. He has Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" quoted in his info, and it is glorious. Oh, and Chris wears kick ass tie dye shirts.
Finals went well... ish. lol... Audralee and I got a pretty fucking brilliant idea after finals Monday. We went uptown and did whatev, then headed bck to school because we knew a certain Mess had a final and we did not. As you may recall from a previous blog, I have the extra set of Messier's car keys. We waited until almost the end of the final so we could see his reaction. We drove his car to the opposite end of the parking lot. It was intended to be a simple joke, but umm, I guess... jokes are no longer accepted in our group of friends. We'll pretend the rest of us haven't been the victims of his pranks. To put it simply and to perhaps even understate it, he had a mental breakdown. This really only made us laugh harder because that's what we do. The next day he was perfectly fine in Pre Calc exam and acted like nothing happened while I was still recovering from the shock of his meltdown, which A-Lee and I like to reinact daily.
I missed beef tips and noodles day today because I was out shopping with Steve, but that's all right. We caught up at A-Lee's after practice. We did some Christmas caroling via phone, which was pretty fucking awesome excluding another outburst from a crazy person that took place. Honestly, what is with these amigos of ours?
Practice was not too bad. I know, weird. We got some cool stuff including the posters for this year. I wasn't hungover when they took this one in the fall like last year, but I was way the fuck up high and I'm afraid of heights. Surprisingly the look of terror on my face didn't show up.
Tomorrow will consist of me getting A-Lee at 11:04 (our negotiated time) to deliever cookies and presents to Messier (risky, I know), Gavin and Nick's family. I'm a little worried about that one because being in their house is really freakin' sad, but I don't want to cry because, well... they probably would too. Christmas isn't cool with crying, you know... unless you're crying from laughing so hard like Audralee and I do... every day.
Shiiiiiiit I'm tired... and I have Christmas presents to wrap.
Brandon--we will definitely have an XMas break heart-to-heart at some point, this I know... or just some catching up or something, whatev.
