November-December 2006
This was the end of the Fall semester my Junior year, so by this time I was living with Jake in our first apartment together and I had declared my major as European History. This was also when I got my job at Center for Academic Success - tutoring and working in the office. Also, November 27th I turned 21!!!
January 2007
I quit my job at Zov's and went to work at BJ's Restaurant and Brewery.
February-May 2007
This was the Spring semester of my Junior year, when I began the preliminary work on my Thesis project (mostly just coming up with a topic). I waffled a lot on the topic, first leaning toward doing something on the IRA (an Irish terrorist group) but finally landing on the Early Modern witch-hunts in England.
April 2007
Jake proposed to me!! In front of his family, he got down on one knee, told me how much he loved me, pulled out a GORGEOUS ring with a princess-cut diamond, and asked me to marry him. I (after some preliminary speechlessness) said yes!
July 21, 2007
Jake and I were in the wedding of our friends Brian and Amanda. Jake was best man and I was a bridesmaid. Also, this was the day that the last Harry Potter book - The Deathly Hollows - came out. I read it and cried like a little girl at the end!
September 2007
Jake and I moved into a townhouse with Brian, Amanda, and Josh (Amanda's brother-in-law). I also began my senior year of college!
January 2008
I went to New Mexico for the Phi Alpha Theta national conference. Phi Alpha Theta is a history honors society and I went to the conference to present my paper on the witch-hunts (a shortened version of my Thesis).
February-May 2008
My last semester of college!! WOO HOO!! At the end of May Brian and Amanda moved out of the townhouse and Josh's girlfriend Adrianne moved in.
June 2008
I was given honors in History as well as being named outstanding history student for my graduating class!!

Graduation day!! Kate came to see it as well as my mom, dad, and aunt Beth!

I started my full-time job as Department Assistant at the Center for Academic Success! No more waitressing EVER!!
June 2008-February 2009
Nothing much went on during this time - just work!

Jake and I moved out of the townhouse and got an apartment of our own again! WE LOVE IT!!

Jake and I set a date for the Wedding - July 22, 2010!!
