A) It's late morning/early afternoon, and the pub is almost completely empty. Casimiro is "working" behind the bar, playing solitaire, practicing fancy shuffling tricks, and the like. Stop in at your leisure, he might play you a round of poker for a drink. But be careful. He cheats.

[He just pulls a hand out of his pocket and muses with a few fingers for him to come over. Sooo shady don't do it.]

[He kneels a little bit and pulls out a single playing card from his jacket.]

[He opens his palm and the card seems to have disappeared.]

[He stands up and oh look at that the card is stuck on a tree branch. Which he plucks and puts back in his jacket.]

[He takes three cards, shows him the ace, then shuffles them on the grass for him to pick.]

[watches intensely, because this is obviously very serious business. after a few moments of contemplation, he points at the one on the far right] There!

[And he's reshuffling, but this time he's a bit of a cheating asshole and the ace disappears under his cuff, replaced with some commonplace card.]
