NEW FIC RECS (plus Hawkeye and Hawkeye *g*)
* First up...a new set of fic recs over at my Fic and Recs journal. The new recs, which you can find HERE, include 13 Avengers stories, 1 Hawkeye story, and 1 Sherlock Holmes BBC story.
* Interested in seeing the cover of the first comic that Hawkeye appears in? It's here, in Tales of Suspense #57. By the way, for those of you who don't know much about Marvel comics history: Hawkeye starts out as a criminal when we first meet him. His eventual turnaround has to do with the example set by Iron Man and a friendly scheme in which Jarvis - i.e., Tony's actual butler - helps Clint.
* A panel report from Emerald City Comic (here) includes spoilery info for future issues of Matt Fraction's Hawkeye If you're interested in what was said but don't want to read through the whole panel report, just check below the cut A fan asked to hear about what was coming in in "Hawkeye." "In issue #9, you get to see what happened in issue #8 from the women's perspective," said Fraction, adding that #10 introduces a villain out to kill Clint Barton while #11 is a mystery issue staring Pizza Dog. Soon, Fraction will do an issue about sign language when Hawkeye's hearing is damaged again.
And now, perhaps it's time to actually get some writing done!
