Testing, testing...1,2,3.

(i.e., testing the cross-posting feature on Dreamwidth)

Edited on LJ only to say that if you *forget* to tick the crosspost box, you can still get the message to crosspost with the edit function. *G*

Can you crosspost directly from DW without using a client?

Cool!

Something tells me I'll be spending a small amount on money on the 30th...

Hm. I just tried corssposting and it went through fine, except it does not seem to like lj-cuts yet. Must investigate.

Now, did you remove the closed comments, and the "comment at DW" note from the bottom, or does that not carry over when you edit it to crosspost?

I heard that when you x-post there are problems with the "cut tags". I'm not sure what that means, but if you know, can you please verify?

They disappear, basically. There's also some html-code noise in the LJ entry, if you want to edit it on LJ later -
tags and all that.

Ah, I see: the lj-cuts disappear. I hope they can solve the problem!

Yeah, it shoves in < /br > as line breaks, which looks messy. And the cuts ... don't.

You click on "edit entry" in DW, then click the boxes as you (i.e., I *G*) did the first time, but this time you (i.e., I *g*) don't forget to put a tick in the box that says "crosspost"
