The Emmys: Winners and losers aside, the show was pretty dreadful this year. Whoever produced/directed should be ashamed of themselves. I've rarely seen such a choppy awards show.
The Last Game at Yankee Stadium: I have a love/hate relationship with the Yankees this year (love the team, hate the Steinbrenners like poison), and I haven't watched much this season because I'm still pissed off over the loss of Joe Torre (which, hello...he's about to take his new team into the post-season, while the Yankees' season is about to end), but...it was the last game at the stadium! And they won! Which is exactly as it should be. Bye, stadium...I'll miss you.
Real World News: Still boycotting it because it's too damned depressing.
