Poker & stuff
Went out to play poker tonight. There is this guy, Steve, who does a traveling texas holdem poker tournament. It is free of charge, just for fun kind of tournament. Anyhow, this couple tonight kind of pissed me off and were taking things and turning it kind of personal. I admitted to being new and made a mistake tonight when I was dealer and they wouldn't let it go and then since they were drinking kept getting things all mixed up. Anyhow, I had a lot of fun despite them. My table was 6 girls & 2 guys to start with and I was one of the last 2 from my original table, the other was also a chick. Anyhow...lots of fun and free preperation for a real tournament.
Work is going pretty good. I am going to work really hard during my re-training and see what it might take to get me promoted within being back a couple of months. I want to make sure I get in with the right people. I like the job enough I guess. It's pretty easy to me. Yes, it can be a little shady but I am thinking if I can get in the right places maybe I can help it be less shady. Whatever...either way it's money coming in.
The whole living situation is starting to resolve itself...I think. I never know with this. I am hoping by April 1st to have everything completely settled. NOW this does mean that after Wednesday I am going to not have internet access for a couple of weeks...so this may be my last post for a bit.
I don't know what else to say. I am tired and have to get up at 4:45a. I hope all is well with you...
