moving
Blunt summary (since I'm a bad LJ-er these days):
I'm moving to New York City - Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn, to be exact - in a week.
I need a job. I have no idea if i will be able to make enough money to pay for everything I need. I need to figure out what to do for grad school because I can't get a decent job with my current degree/experience level.
I'll be living with 4 other people in a 3BR, 2-story condo that looks amazing. It's big by New York standards and is on Smith Street, which is one of the main streets in Carroll Gardens. Shiny wood floors and lots of space from the look of the pictures! (Eric, Amanda, and Zack have seen it; Jason and I haven't yet, other than a few pictures.)
It's exciting and stressful. I've been trying to sell my car and this old big-screen TV for weeks with no luck. My gmail account was hijacked or has rejected me, so I can't check email indefinitely since i did the 5-day wait I was supposed to do, and it didn't work.
I have cavities, which i'm very depressed about since i never skip brushing, and I floss every night. Oh, and they cost $261. :(
Okay. I'll try to post more often. Do people read LJ still? I will also try to read everyone else's entries. I was for a while, but I've been missing out lately. I'm off to my last day of work.
