London, April 2004! Being really miserable in general but still having an amazing time. Drinking lots of sambuca and tequila with Hannah in a scary club and not being able to see anybody's face.
2. Promise Ring - Make Me A Chevy
Going to Italy with school when i was 15 and dancing to this album with Kim, Kate, and Elaine in our room, whilst the scary naked Italian man tried to seduce every girl that passed his room on the floor below ours. Ick. That was a fun holiday!
3. Deerhoof - The Eyebright Bugler
Being reeeaally annoyed that i missed seeing them in Nottingham
4. DJ Numark - Comin Thru
Being in Luke's dad's car and amusing myself by trying to squash myself in the electric seat. Ooh, and Luke driving with his eye's closed.. eeep. Ah, and getting pulled over by the police! Being at Luke's house and watching the neighbours omnibus that Hannah taped whilst eating Ben and Jerry's. Just March in general i guess.
5. Sufjan Stevens - The Dress Looks Nice On You
Going to Nottingham with Tom John at the end of last summer to see Sufjan Stevens. It was probably one of my favourite gigs ever! Everything was ace.
6. Ben Kweller - Commerce, TX
Year 11! Doing GCSE's and going to parties and kissing everybody in the year. Haha. Urgh.
7. Randy Newman - Simon Smith and his amazing dancing bear
Going on holiday to Norfolk one year (i was probably about 8) and meeting the most amazing dog EVER. He was a border collie called Blue and he was really old and deaf. Everybody in the holiday village place used to ignore him and play with Fly, his not-so-deaf sister, but i liked him best. He used to come and sit outside our cottage every morning and howl until i came out. Then he'd follow me round all day. I wanted to take him with us when we went but not surprisingly i wasn't allowed.
8. The Kinks - Things Are Getting Better
Hehe, anything by the kinks reminds me of my year 4 teacher, Mr Methven. He loved them! Every year, in our school show, we had to end with a kinks song. He used to pick his nose and put it on his moustache... then when he'd get bored he'd flick it off. We forgave him for doing this though because he was easily the best story teller in the school. I remember him reading us the play about chimney sweeps!
9. The Mountain Goats - Going to Port Washington
This reminds me of last May and being happy and sad and busy all the time. It also reminds me of being in Megan's car once (R.I.P Fiat Panda Dancer) and her singing a lot.
10. The Little Explorer - Cloud Cover
Ponce in the park 2003. Meeting Ry for the first time. My tent getting ripped! Getting kicked in the head by Steve Roe (haha!), seeing Tom Baker again for the first time in ages. Drinking Lambrini with Hannah Greenwood. Wasps. Fun.
11. Half Man Half Biscuit - Bottleneck At Capel Curig
Megan! Megan still living at home.
12. Pavement - Serpentine Pad
Mum, because whenever she hears the word 'pavement' she shouts 'WOWEE ZOWEE!' and then grins crazily.
13. Eels - Susan's House
Being about 11. And then slightly more recently, going to Germany with school when i was 13. That was when Katie and i became good friends and just before Ruth decided she hated me.
14. The Jesus and Mary Chain - Just Like Honey
This reminds me of walking into the cinema at the end of 'Lost in Translation' instead of the beginning, hehe. It reminds me of the beginning of last year and makes me feel sort've sad but not in a sad sad way. It's strange!
15. OutKast - Ms. Jackson
Haha, this reminds me of going to orchestra about 3/4 years ago with the Massey's and Nicholas (who was about 9) sitting in the back seat singing and rapping. You had to be there to appreciate how amazing it was...

Playing Mariokart at xhousex last summer before q and not u with Ben, Dan, Ry, Matt and Sturge.

18. DJ Shadow - Hindsight
Being in Luke Barley's car a couple of months ago with Nichola and metal Nathan after a random night dancing at scream. That was just before nic and luke got together! Yay. It was a reeeaally busy night at scream and they were playing really amazingly cheesey music (it wasn't a normal scream night.. different dj's and lots of classic rock. The bouncer was on the stage dancing like John Travolta so Nichola went and joined him. Aw, it was an ace night.
19. The Postal Service - Natural Anthem
That party thing i had at my house, last april? Dancing in the kitchen with Ben and Hannah and people whilst eating breadsticks and marmite. Sturge trying to make me eat advocat and icecream?! Urgh. That was fun.. i'd like to have another.

Zack, Slator, Screech, Kelly, that annoying one, that tall annoying one... Mr Belding. Saturday mornings before orchestra when i was about 7.
