Fandom is bitching bitterly about the new Doctor. I like him already. ^_^ Seriously, though, I've now seen some promo shots and things and I really am intrigued about this new guy. It all looks darker, moodier than previous Who, and I think I kinda like it. Moffat's utter lack of originality is not Matt Smith's (for God's sake people, that's not a ( Read more... )

...Hey, Donna was awesome! I'm still a little pissed that she left after just one series.

I could have lived with a young Doctor - it's not just the age I'm disappointed about, it's that it's another young white male all over again. Some diversity would have been nice.

Eh. I kinda like the rules as they are, to be honest. I can understand the injokes thing, but right now it works and that's good enough.

Yes, I'm feeling a lot happier, thanks. You'll have the full story eventually I expect, but not online.

I dunno about Milgi's - right now I'm very unlikely to be there, because I have a) two essays to write in a week, and b) absolutely no money. I'll be about more once my loan's gone in.

It would have detracted from the show as the focus would stop being on the Doctor and become all about his racial background.

Only if they let it be, I think. Oh, the papers would fuss, but they did that about the first black companion. And the first non-straight companion. And whatever. I don't think that's reason enough not to do it.

Monday, I hope, so I might make it. We shall see.
