OK, so you can have an update as well. Because.
On my way home from my paper round this morning, I had this old bloke -he really did look older than my grandad, for fuck's sake!- actually leaning out of the window of his grubby van, leering at me. He actually had that 'oooh'-sound-shaped mouth, had he been going any slower I expect I'd have heard him hoot like a monkey. *eyeroll* He got a particularly vicious scowl and a very vigorous one-fingered salute for his trouble- which I don't think he was expecting. It's the first time I've had my wits about me quick enough to react- usually I'm in a complete dreamworld once I start the walk home, and generally am all the way along the round.
Having said that, old bloke from #3 actually offered me a lift around part of my paper round, bless him. So not all blokes are pervy old bastards who urgently need to be castrated without anasthetic.
Asked for Ottakars Cutie's (yeech. did I just call someone a cutie?? I am turning into a Valley Girl- and I don't mean Rhondda Valleys, either) MSN address, but he said he couldn't remember it so he asked for mine instead. But he hasn't added me yet. *sulks*
Have found another RP community (milliways_bar), but it doesn't accept OCs so I can't use pretty_fire there. List of possible characters to play:

I'm wary about playing a HP character as it looks like the users on there have a pretty complex backstory going- they actually have their own spin-off communites to plot and check continuity and things. I quite like the idea of Lucifer, except I don't know if I could manage his snarkiness. Not entirely sure I could get away with writing Taliesin without reading The Mabinogion. Raoul and Buri sharing an LJ would be fun, but I adore Edna and Fairy Godmother... Any thoughts?
ETA: What about Edna AND Fairy Godmother sharing? They have the odd similarity... both from CGI movies, for a start.
Also, Louse promised (last weekend, actually) to lend me DVDs, but hasn't come up with the goods. I don't want to nag, but I really do want those DVDs... I want the the The Incredibles one, too, but I think I'm going to have to buy that one. *pout* Ah well.
