So, yesterday I was walking through town with a bunch of friends, and Gareth David Lloyd walked past with his girlfriend. So far, so (reasonably) normal - this is Cardiff, after all - but he was dressed like a reject from Saturday Night Fever.
I shit you not. Blinding white suit and shoes, revolting pink shirt underneath with top few buttons undone. Either it was a costume party (I was too busy going OW MINE EYES to notice what the girlfriend was wearing), or he's been raiding Barrowman's wardrobe again. Either way, REALLY DO NOT WANT.
Oh, Cardiff. <3
This weekend's been pretty good all told, despite the renewed proof that men fail at life (the bastard still hasn't called as promised. TWAT.): went out to Las Iguanas with Michelle, Emma, Emily, Chris and Gareth on Saturday night, and good food, drinks, and tiems were had by all.
Saw Wolverine after work on Sunday: we mocked it heavily, as it deserved. My non-spoilery review is pretty much "...Well. Gambit was cool?".
Cat turned up on Sunday and stayed at ours, and Monday morning we saw Monsters Vs. Aliens with a couple of Michelle's friends from her course. It was actually less silly than Wolverine, involved robots as well as monsters and aliens (all it needed was pirates, ninjas and zombies to be the perfect movie), and involved Hugh Laurie squeaking 'Oh. Em. Gee!' which is something no-one's life should be without.
Afterwards, we acquired a Chris and pootled down the Bay to use the Buy One Get One Free vouchers we got with our cinema tickets in the Wagamama's, then met up with Emma and explored the Bank Holiday craft stalls where I acquired more shinies from my favourite jewellery lady and her (very cute) husband, including a pair of free earrings. Finally, we all headed back to Emma's to film the third episode of Cat's Torchwood pisstake Pornwood (which does not, in fact, contain porn. For the record.). During filming we a) died of laughter quite a bit, and b) established once and for all that we are in fact all going to hell.
Sadly, Milgi was closed because of the Bank Holiday, so most people went home but Cat, Michelle, Gareth and I watched bad movies at ours all evening.
I should probably go out about now. Meh.
