i remember the fist time i watched fight club and thought it was the coolest fucking movie i'd ever seen. the robe that brad pitt wears in the movie is the best. his jaw line drives me crazy. i used to think ed norton was sexy, but he reminds me of someone i used to know. ugh.

so i've been watching american idol on and off lately. i kind of loath myself for it, but i have a serious crush on Chris Daugherty. I'm very jealous of his wife, she's one lucky lady.
i slept for three hours this afternoon. i haven't been sleeping at night the last few days. the nightmares i've been having are really starting to bother me. two nights ago i thought i wasn't asleep, but i must have been. i heard a mournful pain filled scream and then smelled the distinct scent of death fill my room. i then had a vision of the water in a toilet swirling down while it was being flushed.
today i had nightmare about an apartment hallway and doors, walking through doors into other rooms, white walls, my roommate's face being distorted and screaming in pain. me screaming in my dream, waking up sweating but not really being awake...surreal. completely surreal, the light of early evening streaming into my room, my cell phone wedged up against my stomach, leaving a strange red mark. gertie snoring next to me. the dreams are so surreal. i wonder about my dreams. what do they mean?
because i slept for three hours this afternoon, i will not be able to sleep again tonight. great. fun. that is why i'm watching fight club.
i'm excited to move, but i'm worried that the apt upstairs is haunted by something different than this apartment. will i have the ghost dreams again, like when i first moved into this apartment?
i saw "thank you for smoking" last week. if you like intelligent satires, then this is the movie for you. i kind of loved it.
my favorite scene in fight club is the "homework assignment" scene where the members of fight club are instructed to get into a fight with a complete stranger.
