I did it! Here is the link. And now I have to go and wrap Christmas presents so that my niece and nephews can unwrap them. As for your dessert tomorrow, I hear oreo's are quite popular or you can always have twinkie's.

Here is a community for you to check out. ginnyviktor

Thanks! I am supposed to make a pumpkin pie, a blueberry banana cream pie, a chocolate silk pie, cornbread, and biscuits tonight. But, since our pipes have been frozen for several days, almost every dish I own is dirty and has to be washed first. (The pipes thawed out about an hour ago.) Fun fun fun. It's going to be a looong night. I'm glad I got all my presents finished a few days ago--at least I don't have THAT to worry about. Just cooking and cleaning and laundry. *eyeroll*

I'm not quite sure how we are going to accomplish everything here before the family dinner tomorrow night. I have to work until 3:30 so it will be 4:00 before I get home and my mother works until 1:00 so that means we are counting on my sister who cannot boil water unless it is in the microwave to get the house clean and praying that my older brothers wife will have time to get all the rolls made and come get things started here while keeping her kids entertained.

Good luck! My mom doesn't work tomorrow and is supposed to get here in the morning to help with the cooking--thank goodness, because I've never cooked a turkey or a ham before, although I could follow a recipe if I had to. The house is as clean as I can get it until Jeremy finishes putting the bathroom back together, so I'm waiting on him. And as for entertaining kids, I am all in favor of slave labor. Ray washed all the dishes while I cleaned the other rooms. I promised to make snickerdoodles at some point tomorrow for payment, although I had to make cookies tomorrow for Santa anyway.

It's obvious that I'm not a parent because my idea of entertaining them is; give them as much sugar as possible and then let their parents have them. (Pixie sticks and asthma inhalers are the perfect combination for my nephews.)
Bribery/slave labor is also a good method of dealing with them Cayden (my six year old nephew) will do anything I ask him to if I let him watch either Nightmare Before Christmas or Labyrinth after he helps me.
As for getting the house cleaned up I have been informed that my sister has the day off of work tomorrow and she has been told that if she wants Santa to leave her any presents the house needs to be clean when my mother gets home tomorrow. Since I cleaned the entire thing four days ago it shouldn't take her that long.

Ray's doctor has informed us that carbohydrates are much better at hyping kids up than sugar, mostly because they'll last longer. I'm not sure if this is all kids or just kids with ADHD, but it might be worth a try to feed your nephews tons of bread and pasta sometime and see if it works for them!

Oh, deviousness! I think that tomorrow night will be the perfect opportunity for the carbs. Cayden is gearing up for a growth spurt and won't stop eating and Calvin is only 20 months old so he'll eat anything that I give him. I wonder how many rolls I can get each of them to eat at dinner.

And on that note I am off to bed before I fall asleep at the computer.

Merry Christmas and happy Viktor reading.
