In Buddhism, there are Four Noble Truths: (1) Life is suffering. (2) All suffering is caused by ignorance of the nature of reality and the craving, attachment, and grasping that result from such ignorance. (3) Suffering can be ended by overcoming ignorance and attachment. (4) The path to the suppression of suffering is the Noble Eightfold Path, which consists of right views, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right-mindedness, and right contemplation. These eight are usually divided into three categories that base the Buddhist faith: morality, wisdom, and samadhi, or concentration. In Buddhism, there is no hierarchy, nor caste system; the Buddha taught that one's spiritual worth is not based on birth.

QuizFarm.com The fact that I came up Buddhist is pretty funny. And Satanism is before Christianity? Thats just weird! I guess I'm not really a practicing Christian so maybe Buddhism is for me...who knows. Anyway, school is over! I graduated on May 6 and then we went to Applebee's in Ankeny to celebrate. It was fun and I am glad it is over. That Wednesday we also went out to Padddy's and I got trashed! I met a lot of Steven's friends that are in his classes so that was fun. I drank a whole pitcher of beer by myself, a Jagerbomb, and then more beer and I surprisingly didnt puke! I did eat some lemons off the counter that I had no idea where they came from or who had been sucking on them previously. Steven also found out that he doesnt like beer cuz I made him taste mine. That Saturday we went to Rachele's graduation ceremony in the morning and then the University-wide one that afternoon. It was fun but I am kinda glad that I only participated in the Business one cuz the University one was huge and long.
These past two weeks I have gotten some wedding stuff done. I got my wedding dress altered some and we bought our wedding bands. I also switched banks from one in Des Moines to one here in Ames. My mom and I put on a garage sale at home which sucked! We made some money though and got rid of some junk. I also found out that my car's air system is too old to repair and I will have to convert it to another one which will cost a crap load of money. I wish I could get another one but I cant really afford it now. Steven and I are going back to Adel tomorrow to leave and go to my grandparent's in the morning. We are gonna have a family get-together there to celebrate my graduation and my grandparent's 50th Anniversary. My grandpa has been a pain the ass because he doesnt want to be recognized and I want to ring his neck for it. He needs to realize that we all love him and are happy that him and Grandma are still together and we want to recognize them. Oh well, I cant change him I guess.
I am just getting sick of people telling me that I still have so much to do for the wedding and everything else. My summer is going to be so busy with starting my new job on Monday, the wedding, and moving into our new apartment. The past few days I have been so stressed out that I cry off and on. Sometimes Steven just doesnt understand what I am going through. He does try but being a man doesnt make it any better. So basically every weekend until the wedding I am busy. Next weekend is another meeting with our pastor to discuss the ceremony and other crap, June 4 is my other bridal shower, June 11 we will prolly meet with the DJ and photographer, and then June 18 is more wedding stuff!! So if you guys get married, ELOPE!!! Steven always reminds me that we should have eloped but when I look back on it 5 years from now I will be glad that we did the ceremony. Oh yeah, and Jeff, if you win the car, I want to buy your Daewoo. :) Well I hope that you are all well and I will try to update more. Have a good weekend!!
