Back to school, Back to school....
So yeah, its back to school! This semester is the home stretch!! After this its the wedding and finally into the real (and scary) world!! This semester I am taking Finance 445 (Bank Management Decisions), Finance 371 (Real Estate), Management 478 (I dunno what this is), Religion 210 (Religions in America), Trans Log 360 (Intro to Transportation Logistics), and Sp Cm 212 (Public Speaking). It should be a long and tough semester but the end will be worth it. I have some people that I know in most of my classes. Jeremy and Rich are in my Religion class so that should be fun. My Real Estate class should be pretty interesting too. I had the first class today and he let us out early to go watch the Kansas vs. ISU basketball game. He is a pretty cool guy and the class seems cool. It may be something I would like to do after college.
On another note, my Great-Grandma Inman died on January 8. She is my Grandpa's mom. She was 96 so we knew it was coming. I guess she died of heart and kidney failure and pneumonia. I feel bad because I hadn't seen her for a long time before she died. I made her a blanket last Christmas and she really liked it. My Grandma is getting that back for me to keep too. The funeral was sad. I missed class on Tuesday to go. I went home Monday night and the funeral was at 1:00 on Tuesday. When we walked into the funeral home, my Great-Grandma was in the open casket and my Grandma started to cry. She just felt bad because she knows my Grandpa is sad. I cant handle it when she cries. If it was my Grandma lying there, I would not be talking to you right now. I would be overcome with grief because she means so much to me. Anyway....there were a lot of people there that I havent seen for a while which is a good thing I guess. I think that my Grandparents are relieved that it is over because they always worried about her and put a lot of effort into visiting her. I'm sure they will be fine.
On a happier note, Steven and I went to Dave's party on the 8th. It was good to see my friends before class started again. I will miss working at the Deli. Not with Dumb and Dumber though, thats for sure!! We also took Jeff to the new restaurant on Main Street. Its Olde Main Brewery. It has pretty good food but Steven got lasagna that smelled like puke and spilled it on my purse! So, now my purse smells like puke and I still havent washed it. But, it was good to hear about all of Jeff's adventures in Singapore and we are glad to have our Ffej back!! Also, Rachele will be moving home to do her student teaching soon. I am going to miss her!!
Oh, it also seems that everyone around me is pregnant!! My friend Erin is pregnant and is due on March 10. She is having a girl. My cousin just had a baby on December 8 and she named him Connor. My other cousin is due on March 2. And, I am always hearing stories about people from high school getting pregnant. Another year and we will be trying!! Well, another year and a few months.
