Career Fair.....
Thank God the career fair is over!! It went pretty well over all but it was kinda stressful dealing with all the anxieties of if I was saying the right things or if I am gonna get a job or not. I met with Farmers Insurance Company for an interview today and it went really well. The guy I talked to really wants me to do this and open up an office in Waukee or anywhere. It sounds like I could make some really good money but I will see how it goes.
School has been going ok. I am starting to get really busy with everything. In two of my classes I have group projects so those can be time consuming. I had three tests last week and two next week. I will prolly get all C's again this semester but as long as I pass, I dont care. I just want to graduate in May!!
Wedding planning is slowly going along. Steven and I went to two Bridal shows in Des Moines a few weekends ago. I got some good info there that may come in useful. My step-sister Missy is coming back from Orlando, Florida for the week. I am going to go home tomorrow to pick out bridesmaid dresses while she is here and then go to my sister's football game, where she will be cheering. Then on Saturday I am gonna come back to Ames and prolly go out to a movie with Steven and thats about it! I miss hanging out with friends...I need to do that sometime! It just seems like I am so busy and they are too!
My mom hasnt been doing too well lately either. She is sick with an illness that runs in the family and she injured her back about a month ago. She may have to have surgery I guess. Its her birthday on Tuesday so I am sending her flowers and I also got her some PJs and a shirt. Prolly more money than I should have spent but as long as it makes her feel good it is well worth it! Well, class will be starting soon....gotta go!
