Water in a Glass 1/1

Aug 20, 2011 17:30

Summary: Sam saves Dean from the deal by changing the body Dean inhabits. But there are consequences, and they have a lasting effect on Dean.

Rating: PG-13 for some language.

A/N: Takes place on the tail-end of Season three, although a little AU for how Sam is able to break the deal, but has nothing to do with season four.

Well, I hadn't planned on it. I have a couple ideas for future stories that I may write, but no happy ending planned as of yet. I'm glad you liked it, though!

This was so different from anything I've read in a long time and it was wonderful!

This is the most fantastic take on a 'bodyswap' I've read. Please, PLEASE continue this. Is Dean going to lose himself completely now? Will he forget himself all together? Stop answering to 'Dean'? Will he go insane? i MUST know!

I hadn't planned on a sequel to this. Since then, I've thought of a couple ideas to continue the story, but they don't really lead to more of a conclusion. The way I see it now, I can either end on an even darker note (which I'm usually not prone to do) or bring it back to a happy ending (which lessens some of the creepy in this fic). So I'm not sure yet. Thank you for commenting, though, and I'm so glad you enjoyed this story!

Wow! I love how this feels like a happy story at first and then turns sort of insidiously creepy.

Thanks! I had a hard time enjoying the happy at the beginning because I knew what was coming later, so I'm glad to see that it came through regardless.
