I Hate It

I can’t believe it. I came over here to ask Josef if he’d seen Beth anywhere. She wasn’t at home, and she wasn’t answering her phone, so I was starting to get worried. I get to his house though and I find Beth’s car and from what I can tell, she’s been here a while. I wonder what’s going on. I walk up to the house and look into one of the many windows. I couldn’t believe what I saw. I don’t want to believe it. I won’t. There is no way that what I’m seeing is real. I’ll just close my eyes and when I’ll open them again I’ll realize that I’m just seeing things, but I’m not. Beth’s really here. She’s really staring at Josef like he’s her whole world and he’s doing the same, in a very Josef like way. She’s staring at him, like I stare at her. She’s holding him and he’s holding her. She’s holding him, like I wish she would hold me. She’s letting him drink her blood and he’s letting her drink his. I don’t know what shocks me more, the fact that they are together or the fact that she now appears to be a vamp. I want to hate them, but I can’t. They’re my friends which is something that I have very few of. The only thing that I can do is turn and walk away, and I hate it.
