It's getting bad. You seem to see him everywhere these days. Laughing at a stupid joke that Michael made, you can see him laughing out of the corner of your eye, but when you look, he's not there. It's like your obsessed with the kid, or like you're some strange kind of over protective brother.
This really has to stop.
But you need to see him once again, even if it's just for five minutes. You need to know if he misses you too. So you grab your phone, not even going into your directory for his number, instead you go to Twitter, and leave the following for him to see:
Hey @DavidArchie... How long are you in town? DM me or text me and let me know.
Nearly an hour later, when you're fresh out of the shower and in the middle of getting dressed, your phone buzzes on your pillow (1 New Text From David Archuleta). You drop everything in haste to reach your phone, so eagerly that you drop your jeans, which land around your ankles and cause you to end up tripping and falling over. And only after you curse a healthy bit that would make Archie blush, you open his message.
Gosh, I think I'll be in town just for today. But I'll see if I can visit, haha! Miss you!
You can't help but smile, as you continue to text for the next three hours, discussing nothing but where you're going to meet up. Thankfully Andrew suggested dinner, and to bring Brooke along, after interpreting your silly grin to mean that you were talking to Archie. Finally.

"Oh my gosh, Cook! I remember this restaurant!"
That was the first thing Archie said once he saw you leaning against the edge of the door of Casa Vega. Then he flew into your arms with a hug that knocked all of the wind out of your lungs.
You remembered it too, after all, this was the restaurant that he had spilled all of his feelings for you (after spilling his glass of water all over himself) "So I kinda sorta maybe like you a lot more than I had originally planned.", and your only response was a kiss that left him gasping on that leather bench.
Archie made a beeline for that same booth, clutching your hand tightly in his as he went, and you know damn well that if it wasn't a public place, he would have sat right there on your lap.
"Hey, Andrew, I forgot my jacket in my car. Could you come with me while I get it?"
"But I'm hungry!"
"I said come with me. Now."
Only after a death glare from Brooke did Andrew agree to leave, leaving Archie and Cook alone at last.
"Fuck. Arch. You have no idea how much I've missed you."
Archie cringed at the curse, of course, and gave a squeal when you lifted him up onto your lap in a rib crushing hug. Then you push him under the table, and immediately follow him.
"I hope Brooke can't find her jacket for a long, long time." You growl, sitting on your knees and fighting to get Archie's shirt open.
Eventually his shirt tears open, and you both manage to get your jeans down just enough so that you could push inside of him. And just like always, his head goes back, his mouth falls open, and he lets out one of those gasping moans that drive you absolutely crazy.
You were surprised that you waited this long, and even though it's not the most romantic place to make love, you were here with him, and that's all that fucking mattered. He was here with you after so long, your angel.
You watched him bite down on the knuckles of his left hand, stifling his scream, as he spilled himself over your fist, before your own orgasm sent you gushing inside of him. It lasted forever, and not long enough. But it would have to wait until you were home.
He leaned up, lightly pressing his lips on the shell of your ear, to murmur exactly what you had hoped your impromptu lovemaking would tell him.
"I missed you too, Cook."
