I posted this picture over a month ago, asking if anyone knew the artist. A few weeks ago i went to the art library at Smith and combed through the stacks until i recognized the spine. The artist is Elizabeth Peyton and this painting comes from the book live forever.
And PS why did no one tell me about Elliott Smith??
