Has anyone... seen Commander Spock recently?

[This isn't easy for her to ask, isn't easy for her to admit that she can't find him. Part of her is hoping that someone else knows where he is, that he's not gone. Part of her is hoping that no one else has seen him, either, because then that means he's not avoiding her. Either way, something is right ( Read more... )

[Jim has more or less assumed Spock was avoiding him--but Uhura's the last person he thinks Spock would cut off all contact from. The thought that he's gone, too... Jim pushes it away. But he sounds worried.]

[On the other side of the room, Tony sits cross-legged on a pillow on the floor, a picture book in his lap. He's been wiped again to cut off the returning Magistrate's powers. It's a stopgap still, but an effective one.

[Every now and then between the flip of a page, Tony looks up to Uhura as she talks on her comm. His stare is a little less curious right then, and a little more knowing.]
