[Well, shit. He didn't expect to get away with masquerading as one of the Federation crew for very long, but he'd at least hoped it would last a little longer than it has.]

[This is what happens when you're stuck in a city with a stalker Vulcan.]
Understood. The majority of the equipment previously obtained remains stored within an office at the harbor's warehouses. They are free to be used as you see fit.

[Jim has no idea why it should take thought, to ask something so simple and freely given. His reply is immediate.]
Then you have me. Half an hour, Spock.
[He gets coordinates, and is on his way, his mind buzzing with what, exactly, he'll do once he gets there. What can he hope to accomplish, when it comes to turning Spock half-Vulcan again? He can't, and he knows it. Likely Spock does to.
Likely, he can't ask directly for companionship, or the comfort it brings. Jim is happy to oblige, however, and makes his way quickly.]

[He doesn't say anything in reply to that, already knowing that he'd overstepped his usual, self-instigated boundaries. He shouldn't be acting this way. Least of all toward a superior officer. But at the same time, Jim has been nothing but a friend to him since his arrival. It's a connection that he's grown to rely upon during his time in the city, despite knowing that to most, it could be seen as a weakness.
It still takes him a while to work his way down the stairs and toward the entrance. But it's easier than it had been before. He knows he's healing, however gradually. And now that Jim knows where he's been living, he also knows that he wont have to push himself this time. Instead, he just has to wait.]

Have you made any progress with your project?
[She really wishes she could ask something more specific, or offer something useful, but she'll take what information she's been given and run with it. She's used to chipping away until he's ready to share.]

I can meet you at the mansion later this evening.
[Because living at the House means that he's fed to the brim far too often. He's going to have to learn to say no to it for the rest of the day first.]

...Ah. Yes. This incident is unrelated to everyone else changing. I would greatly appreciate if you did not share my transformation with anyone unless absolutely necessary.
I arrived here shortly before September, although I kept quiet and to myself gathering information for a few days. [Getting stuck here around your birthday sucks, let me tell you.]

The harbor.
[There's a hint of unease in his voice; he hasn't been back down near the harbor since he got caught by the siren.]

[That uneasiness is picked up on, and it doesn't take a genius to work out why it's there.]
Will that be an issue?

[He makes no reference, in word or tone, to Spock's discomfort. Merely continues firmly.]
We'll think of something. I can be there whenever you like.

I would welcome it now.

[It's a long way to limp. Now, just give him a few moments here.]
This body requires sustenance more often than I am used to. Perhaps you would be willing to accompany me in the search for an evening meal.

I would love to. Should I come to you?

[She's almost about to ask how he designated which universe was the 'prime' in this case, but hey, she won't argue...]
How fares with the project? No more setbacks, I hope?

Lieutenant Reed?
[Okay. Focusing now.]
The project shall be moving ahead shortly. A question though, if I may. When do you believe you arrived here?
