I'm in Canada. I don't have too many Steampunk things or doggles but I like the subgenre... it's just the rampant elitism annoys the piss outta me. And I think I've proven the point that elitism is only useful when the topic at hand is consistent and not 'if they believe it's steampunk then it is' which is a big steaming pile of Bullshit.

i've got an excellent friend who is pretty much entirely composed of win, in edmonton. she's more into the EBM scene. i want to get up there at some point and take a nice leisurely driving tour through the Sensible Lands.

Thanks for the kudos, I especially get annoyed when it's the person who posted 'the rules of steampunk' which I had a problem with THEN, telling people that 'if they believe it's steampunk then it is' bloody annoying. First off, why have rules if you're going to break them by telling people that cyberpunk is steampunk? *LOL* Secondly: The rules were annoying in the first place Victorian does not automatically equal Steampunk! If you're going to be an elitist prick, at least be consistent in your elitism!
Also, I'm wondering if I can get your opinion on something... I was videographer on this: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=upZ33318g2c a little over a year ago, what do you think?
