Suggest a story idea!

I'm drawing a bit of a blank here, so I'm throwing open the floodgates.

For those of you who read my short fics, give me a prompt, and I'll see if I can write a story for it. (Around 300-500 words.) Here's a list of previous fics as a reminder of what kind I write.

I like your fics but I don't usually read much 11th Doctor-era fics. I'd love to see a 9th or 10th Doctor era fic, or 8th Doctor with Lucie Miller! Alien world is lovely, imprisonment/impending doom even better, and shippy is wonderful as well =)

Othermewriter and Kilodalton, this works, it sounds like you're both describing a story I already wrote! LOL.

If you haven't read it yet, read Flipsided which is a 10/Rose story with alien environment, imprisonment and impending doom, shippy, with Rose meeting a "new" face of the Doctor (8), and him realizing she will one day travel with him.

I'd really like to see a story where somebody makes Mels cry and little Rory goes and sorts them out (or tries too)

And/or...

One where River meets John and Sherlock and is a massive fangirl over John and his writing (studied him for her doctorate even) but is not really that impressed with Sherlock.

These are just the sort of thing I wanted. And I've already written one based on your first prompt. Somebody makes Mels cry, and Rory's not going to stand for that.

Eleven era:

Working as an undergraduate field assistant at an archeological dig, River discovers a number of mysterious notes on various artifacts. Notes meant for her.

Any other era:

The Doctor (any of him) gets kicked out of museums for various amusing reasons, ranging from stealing artifacts (but it was absolutely necessary!) to just correcting all the plaques.

The Museum of Love - River has to follow a trail of clues from an archeological site, to a museum where the Doctor has tampered with the exhibits.
