This is lovely. Some really beautiful lyrical descriptions in here. I love the way you describe the companion's reaction to him as he sits down and begins explaining to her. And i LOVELOVELOE the descriptions of River

I love that bit. You really get across his love for her, her wildness, his respect for that. Great piece.
