I swear I'm working on it...
I swear I am working on the next chapter of Up a Tree.
I haven't abandoned the story, and I do know where it's going. In fact, I finally ironed out the conclusion a few days ago, practically writing the last chapter. So, hopefully, it won't feel like I painted myself into a corner and don't know how to get out of it. I have a plan.
I know the story has seemed like it's not going anywhere, just the Doctor, Rory, and Amy playing tourist in a city in a giant tree, but the next chapter is where the plot really starts, someone is going to die, and nobody knows why, or nobody who's talking.
But sometimes, you have to listen with other ears. And sometimes what's "obvious" isn't so obvious at all.
And even when things start getting serious there's still the Mickey Mouse reference to look forward to...
