Wherever it's Christmas Poem

Twas the Day before Christmas, thus Amy decreed.
"But we're in the Vortex," Ro-ry disagreed.
"It can be Christmas if that's what you want,"
the Doctor set coordinates to go on a jaunt.

"No," shouted Amy, "I want it here!
With presents and carols and ones I hold dear!
Inside the Tardis, we'll have our own tree!
And dinner and presents and just us we three."

"But where do we find it? The gifts and the food?"
Rory did question, starting to brood.
"Time machine, Rory," Amy reminded.
"We can go anywhere, until we find it."

The past and the present, the future awaited.
A mountain, then Macy's, their joy unabated.
A trainload of presents, a mountain of food
A Time Lord astonished that it was so good.

A memory treasured, from "Santa" was labelled.
Ancient technology freely enabled.
"Christmas is magic!" the Doctor expounded.
While over the speakers, Jingle Bells pounded.

Please forgive my silliness, I couldn't resist.

This was done on a prompt for a Doctor Who Christmas poem or song, but it's actually a condensed version of my Doctor Who fic - Wherever it's Christmas,

If you want to know what the poem means, read the story. It's actually pretty accurate. Merry Christmas!
