"They don't look like Sontarans to me, Sweetie," River said, lowering her binoculars and squinting at the horizon line. "I mean, they're short all right, but aren't Sontarans meant to be a bit more on the grey and potato-like side?"
"Let me see that," the Doctor demanded, snatching River's binoculars, and therefore River who was still attached.
He squinted and paused to rub at the lenses with the corner of RIver's shirt while ignoring her complaints. Lifting them back to his face, he took another look and grimaced.
"Oh great. It would have to be them..." he muttered.
Another pumpkin smashed on the ridge right next to Amy, seeds and pulp splattered them. "Who?" she said with exasperation, shielding her face. "They're getting our range now, you two geniuses better think of something!"
