all in all, a toss up. if it weren't for the open sci-fi museum, the packed crowd and long lines, not to mention the date nearly a month after the holidays ended, would have left microsoft as the clear lead.

cupcake royale is pretty delicious. the actual cake quality is not super but is slightly better than dozen. the orange buttercream on the orange u glad is bafflingly good. their paraphernalia is entertaining but nothing i'd buy. the coffee is about standard. cupcake girl was nowhere to be seen.
we ended up at the ballard farmer's market afterwards. i bought a crepe and some smoked salmon.
