After eighteen hours of labour and two hours of delivery, Alexander Nathaniel was brought into the world at seven pounds, thirteen ounces (a half dozen pounds on me) at 0540, July twenty-ninth, two thousand and five.
I've been a father for just over eleven hours.
Rem, Amanda's mother, and I are going to be going in at six to visit her (giving her some rest to recover as quickly as possible). Visiting hours for non-relatives are six to eight in the evening.
Anyway, we're off to get ready for visitation-type-thingy.
