I can safely say this was one of my more out of the ordinary weekends :P.

Friday-
School: Uh...I kind of forgot what we did at school on Friday. Too long ago x_x.

Work: The kids are listening to me now because I actually carry out my punishment threats and wasn't as strict as the last tutor. If the kids decide to go bad, then I'm going to take away their recess and make them do extra homework o.o.

Benchbuilding: Biked to....uh...someone's house. Whoever it was lived pretty near Weibel, so it was easy to get there. Got there to find that...the only guys there were Alex, Kenta, and....this other guy, the regulars O_O. I thought there'd be more cause Phi, Jaideep, Shirish, Kenneth, Daniel, and a whole bunch of people I knew where supposed to be there helping. And then I came to find that they weren't o.o. Kind of odd. Anyway, made the start of our vines with the bags. Walked around to find that some conversations can get preetttty weird with some people. Kenta was doing this documentary thing and was randomly adding people into it from the benchbuilding o-O. It was kind of dull cause I didn't really know anyone there. They were mostly acquaintances that I knew from classes from the past. Toward the end, we got bored so Alex and Kenta decided to push the host of the entire thing into her own pool. It was pretty funny xD. Then there was a whole bunch of "revenge" going on so I helped push the guy I didn't know too well into the pool too xD. By the end, we had 4 people into the pool, and they didn't want to get out. After all while, it got dark so I headed for home.

Saturday-
Chinese School: Quiz today, and it was easy as pie :P. Presented our chinese food and basically everyone who had credit classes had free lunch!

Mall: Plan was to meet up with Albert and a whole bunch of other Irvington Chinese School people at Great Mall to watch Fearless at the theater(Yes, it's amazing that it's better to watch movies in groups as opposed to being alone in your own home!). Went with my brother on the AC Transit to Great Mall to find that Albert had missed the bus, smart. Anyway, my dad gave him a lift and we met up at the mall. Killed some time by eating at the food court and just chatting our lives and school stuff. Turns out the Irvington group went to New Park Mall instead of Great Mall! I was wondering how they might've confused the names of the malls up and realized that you can watch movies at New Park Mall as well because there's a theater across the street. Thus, the group has been reduced to only Albert, my brother and me. Met up with Dylan and Jimmy at Pro Star. Introduced Albert to them and vice versa. Got news on the latest up bringings on Magic and watched people play. Albert was playing the "Get a Chance to Win a Egyption God card" thing cause he was bored. Then all of a sudden the machine broke and he got mad O_O. The management didn't like his temper(Albert tried to pry the stuff out of the machine with their scissors), and banned him from the shop. Not too much of a loss, considering that Albert didn't really care that much anyway ^^;;. Got Jimmy and Dylan interested into seeing Fearless and we left for the theater. Met up with Albert's friend(Our group had increased to a size of 5, yay ^_^) and bought tickets to the theater. It was another hour until the next movie, so Jimmy, Dylan, Jay, and I went to the food court for dinner. Albert and his friend were going to Initial D for a while. Jimmy thought we couldn't possibly wait 1 hour and burn time by eating food. Poor, poor Jimmy. He needed to give him a social life xD. I didn't eat anything cause I had something earlier, so I just bought a drink :P. We talked about how fast food was bad and stuff, and how that even if you work out, it's still back cause it starts to get harder to work out later. After we ate, we regrouped in the theater arcade. Albert decided to be "cool" and tried to go in through the backdoor of the theater with the help of his friend. Of course, security had tightened up since they realized teenagers aren't always honest during the summer *gasp*! They both got busted and managed to escape misdemeaner records by having Albert borrowing Jimmy's ticket to show "proof of purchase".

Fearless wasn't that bad of a movie, but it is definately what I would call the "generic action/wushu/kungfu movie". The only difference is the strong emphasis on asian pride, and how united we stand causes you to become stronger. The plot was sadly predictable if you've watched Jet Li/Jackie Chan movies before, and for some ODD reason, I began to see elements of the Hero's Journey in the movie(CURSE YOU O'CONNOR), which made the plot even more predictable. Though in the end, if you haven't watched a asian action movie in a while(Say, 2 years or so) or haven't simply watched one in general, then you'll find Fearless to be enjoyable.

After the movie, chatted some more while waiting for my dad to give us all a ride. Came home at around 9:30ish. Pretty good time in my opinion :D. Though at the end of the day, 2 things about Albert kept bugging me:
1. Albert's lack self morals bothered me a lot. He does the "say you want water but actually get self-serve soda" thing a lot, he defied authority when people tried to calm him down at Pro Star, and he tried sneaking into the theater for free through the backdoor. I can understand movie hopping, but that just goes a bit too far in my taste.
2. Albert has a short temper. Talking to him was a bit hard for me cause I didn't want to insult him. He was in my Chinese School class last year and he got mad a lot ^^;;. Though in the end, as long as I watch my words to make sure I don't insult him in any way, shape, or form, I can strike a conversation with him. He got hecka mad at Pro Star cause he couldn't get the cards he paid for. They gave him a refund and everything in the end but it wasn't enough.
All in all, Albert likes to defy rules and authority. I don't dare crossing the line he's crossed, but he is still a good guy. He has the watch his back though, cause so far every time he's crossed the line nobody really took it out on him. Chinese doesn't do much about the constant ditching I see being done by Kyle and Melissa cause it's run by asian parents. Pro Star luckily just banned him and didn't call security, who would've taken more drastic action. He managed to get away without a mark on his record at the theater cause of Jimmy. I wonder what line he dare's to cross at Mission? Well, whatever it is, I wish him the best of health, and hope that he might come back on the side of the line I'm on.

"You can see goodness in all as long as you have the patience to" is what I've come up with from this experience.

Sunday-
Morning: Nathan came over and we worked our Caesar project. Good thing he remembers a lot about iambic perimeter cause I just forgot it all in 8th grade X___X.
Afternoon: Jimmy and Nathan came over to play Magic. They all have their new cards and stuff, but I'm alright with just having my cards. Their decks weren't that beefed up with the new stuff anyway, lol. Vabohv and Kreg randomly decided to come over and we chat for a while xD. A Sunday well spent on relaxing 8].
