Haven't updated for a while...heh.
0 - "Ultimate Frisbee"....yea. Not the best thing in the world, but not the worst thing in the world either.
1 - Lesson...blah x_x. Nothing particularly interesting. Quiz tomorrow...*sigh*
2 - Random stuff. AP Bio stuff. Surprisingly, it's stuff I'm totally used to. AP Bio will be waaaaaaaay easier then I thought ._.
Advisory/Tutorial - Man, Martin wouldn't sign my Tutorial. She said I had to sign it yesterday -__-. Not like it matters anyway, there aren't enough Tutorials for the rest of the year to allow me to finish. So I'll just double P.E next year for like 8 days. Mr. Moran tried to "socialize" with the freshman(And Vincent was *cough*ditching*cough* as usual). It's kind of hard faking being interesting to an old guy....
3 - Our new book is so.....WEIRD. There is an entire chapter that's freakin devoted to HAIR O_O. Symbolism, yes, but still, craziness.
4 - Massive notes. Then got tests back....mine got graded...however, SOMEHOW, MY WORK WOUND UP ON THE BACK OF THE GROUP TEST PACKET, so Mrs. Lau was like....how come these answers have no work to them? Zero. Psh, now we're missing 16 points...
Lunch - Spontaneous randomness, as usual.
5 - Oh right, did another "representation" activity with hand shaking...laaaaaaaaaaaaaame. Totally obvious from the start. Also, turns out I have some work to catch up on, whatever.
6 - No pictures again. My camera still has no batteries, so I can't take freakin pictures. I have to go to Walgreens tomorrow to buy some. Did my math homework instead.
_____________
You know what I notice? I noticed that the term "home sweet home" barely applies to as many people as it used to. From crazily abusive parents(Not pointing anyone out here, but said parents are abusive to a disgusting extent at times) to procrastination that was thought unimaginable. Who ever thought it was smart to leave a crazy huge John's conics project to the last minute? When was it obvious that the workload was unbelievably huge that you needed to work past midnight? English is one thing, where people just bs essays, but MATH -___-;;. *sigh*
The Asian populous of Irvington is definitely more content at school, from what I've seen. No homework to worry about cause you do it at home(The classic lazy Asian element). You see your friends, you can hang out, etc. Heck, it's freakin paradise in a place that's smaller and closer then the local mall(And most definitely is not related to it in any way, shape, or form). Plus, classes are cake if there's no test/quizzes.
What supposed these claims? Well, the pain and suffering I see through people's own words makes it clear, whether it be online or through their own mouthes. You do not feel this way at school, your real safe haven away from reality, but all of a sudden, this huge change of feelings when you come home. Mood swings are triggered the most at your homes. I hardly see dramatic changes in mood amongst most people at school, but why are home, the place where you're supposed to be the most stable in the first place? There's a reason why little children cry for their mothers, there's a reason that the children love the comfort and warmth of the home, and there's a reason why the place where you live is the place you're supposed to go to when you're in trouble.
My question for you is: What is going on with your home, your family, your assumed haven? Why is your haven at school instead at home?
It's natural for one to display different habits within the security of your own home, but it seems that for some people, it's like you're in another world, a world that seems to be your greatest Heaven or your greatest Hell.
