my hands smell like barbecue, but it's really delicious, and so is hickory bill's, which is closing today forever.
here until wednesday, which sucks because it's for one final on the last day that consists of giving a presentation on the exact subject we just gave presentations on. BUT! it doesn't suck because i'm excited to do some christmas shopping, christmas gift-giving, working, and i have a free one hour massage i get to book (though i do wish i was home for danielle's party tonight and for my grandma's birthday on tuesday).
we collected donations for a while for the elizabeth freeman center (we adopted three families) and for the berkshire humane society. we raised about $350, which is a lot, but we did have to put back some stuff when we shopped. some people didn't really understand/care that not everybody can afford to buy a nintendo wii, or in one family's case, toilet paper. oh well.
i suppose that's it. i turned in some portfolios, stayed up real late most of the week, and yeah. it doesn't feel like winter, and especially not christmas time, which is very disappointing. i'm going to move more north to salvage some cold weather.
i'm also (hopefully) going to ireland this summer and a few other nearby places. i'm also probably moving to boston. i also (also also also) got an internship at the advocate, which makes me feel much more prepared to graduate in may, like maybe i'll actually get a job somewhere that's not a retail store. i'm looking forward to starting in january VERY much.
