[Nagi is standing over a pot and fire outside (the old days were the best days), stirring and boiling some kind of food. You can't really tell if it looks good or bad from the steam rising up but you can only pray that it's hopefully decent. After an extremely short time, the mage takes a spoonful of the substance and puts it in his mouth.
And promptly spews it back out.]
Dammit! Can't this freakin' thing cook faster? I'm not askin' for a miracle here.
[Pulling a black notebook out of the back of his pocket, he recites a few latin words and the pot catches on fire. Undaunted, he shoves his hand into the fire and takes another spoonful of the substance into his mouth.
And spews it back out again.]
