ughhh, sickness.
I've got this horrible head cold that will not leave me alone. It's been a good 4 days and I'm chugging back dayquil, but when I wake up in the morning I'm just as stuffy as ever. Always happens when I come home for a bit. This old, crappy house. And the fact that I live with slobs, and in school I keep a nice, clean existence. I haven't been sick in over a year, wahhh.
Anyway, my summer's been working part time shifts at subway and shopping & more shopping. I've dropped like $600 this month. Whatever, I haven't been out shopping in so long and I needed summer clothes and shoes and stuff. I've got some great stuff now, so I'm done for a bit. Still trying to save up so I can get a car by the end of the summer.
I've done a few summery things, like canoeing down the river with my sisters and laying out on my beach chair. I went to the library last week and checked out almost a dozen books on my "to read" list so I'm trying to get through those. But, I wanted to re-read Eclipse before the movie, cause I haven't read it in 2 years and I forgot everything, so I've been reading that instead of real literature, lol.
Also, trying to work on some more fiction, since I've got the time. Everything I write though is pretty meh right now, I haven't felt very inspired. I've got a couple plot bunnies in my head though, so I've just got to get them out and edit later. This online class I have takes a good chunk out of my week, too. It's a lot of reading and discussion posts every week, but I'm really not doing anything else with my days.
