Happy 2010!
A new decade! Hope you all had a wonderful night celebrating the end of the year.
Mine was nice enough - small get together at my sister's. Was invited to Tera's, but I passed. Josh and John were there, but I wasn't up for it. My sister was excited about the first real "party" at her house too so I wanted to stay with her. We played drinking games, beer pong, some wii and pretty much drank until 4am. My youngest sister's boyfriend got the most wasted of all, and passed out on a chair snoring like crazy. Ang and I were pretty aggravated, and everytime she woke him he'd got right back in 2 minutes. So we just put on some TV and laid around until he got up at 7am for work. Neither of us can sleep with snoring, heh. However, my other sister, Kelly, passed out right away and slept straight through, all bright and sunny in the morning. Ugh it took until about 2pm for Ang and I to become coherent, and then we all went to Denny's.
Haven't set many resolutions for myself, I know that I just really need to focus on school this upcoming year. Completely immerse myself into writing. I'd love to have something published by the end of 2010, though. And I'd love to travel somewhere. I didn't do many exciting trips in 2009 :(
Oh, and I haven't forgotten about mission101_2009. My list of 101 things to do in 1001 days, I made the list last new years. Here's what I managed to accomplish in one year: 101 in 1001
It's not much, just a start. Not really pushing myself, just keeping them in mind. I'm just really hoping to keep a clearer head in the new year, keep my mind positive and take more chances, develop more independence. I'm going to be 24 this year; I feel it's time to really branch on my own and see what my life has in store. I want to be able to look back in another decade and love what I've done.
