It's December! I can officially use my santa pat icon, haha.
My little calendar for the month:
6 - my sister's christmas party
12 - Fall out Boy concert!
16 - folie a deux comes out!
yeah, that's all I got right now, haha. Plus christmas shopping and all that good stuff. I'm going to really try to have a good month. just keep myself busy and enjoy the holidays. And oh, I'm going to get in shape! I've already done my first workout of the month. I've sat around so much since I've been home, so instead of gaining weight during the holidays, I'm going to lose it! My goal is just 5 pounds, I'm going to be realistic, haha. But workouts make me feel good, and oh man how nice would it feel to have a cute lil figure again?
On top of that, I want to have my grad school apps sent out by the 31st. But I'm worried I won't get my rec letters back in time and my stories won't be good enough. I've decided that if I don't get in, then I'm teaching overseas. Getting out of the country and volunteering or something. But you know how they say some people only thrive in an academic setting, and not out in the real world? Yeah, I think I'm one of those people. :\
Also:
OMG, I'M STILL LAUGHING AT THE RICK-ROLLING OF THE MACY'S PARADE. It's like, really? Internet jokes in a thanksgiving parade? Epic.
I haven't read bandom in a while, (and even longer since I rec'ed something) but I have to discuss this:
different mornings by
colorofsmoke.
it's brendon/ryan but really subtle and it's got this realism to it that I love. It kind of hurts but in a quiet way, and the emotions are delicate, and it takes place in new york and I'm a sucker for city stories, so. Just kind of inspired me, and I want to share it :)
guess that's all I've got. my AP and panic dvd still aren't here, humph. :\
