dude, does anyone else love that genius feature on the new version on itunes? It's awesome. I've done 6-7 playlists so far, and all of them have been amazing. I'm so lazy when it comes to my itunes anyway, I love that it just makes the mix for me. Aaaand speaking of music, Joshua Radin has a new cd! It's quite lovely. You all know how I love him. He's quickly becoming one of my all time favorites, and I don't even know why. I'm not even big on that type of music. There's just something about him. He's pretty much perfect :)
So, you know what sucks? Food poisoning :( Went to a chinese buffet late thursday night, everything looked questionable to begin with but w/e I had sushi and clams and squid and everything. Woke up at 7am, puking my guts out. Like, in the top 5 worst throw ups, ever. It burned so bad. Two days later, and my throat still hurts, it was that bad. And I was rushing to the toilet all day, ew. And you know what? I had to go into work at 3pm that day. Drank a huge thing of Gatorade to get through it, and they still asked me to close. Hell no!
So I got off at 8, went home and slept till 10, until Tera from work called, asking if I wanted to chill. I felt a lot better after that nap, and I need to get in with the "good" work people, so I said yes. I said I would have ONE jagerbomb, and I ended up having nine lol :( So it was a good night. Played pool and spades and did a 2am run for snacks haha. They wanted me to stay the night, but I lived so close and like being in my own space and I don't know them that well yet, so I went home, around 4.
Then Tera calls this afternoon, inviting me to chill by the pool. Sounded good to me, so I invited my sister and she brought the puppy and we wore nice sundresses, thinking this was gonna be a nice backyard cookout thing. Haha, it was a dirty, above-ground pool in a weeded junk yard, omg. So I tried making the best of it and we got in the pool and it was okay, there were 6 of us there so we played marco polo and volleyball and stuff. Ordered pizza and played cards (but, they asked if we could chip in $20 for pizza - thought that was a lot for just my sister and I), and they're okay people, not who I'd normally hang out with (they're all 26-30 with kids), but it's nice to be able to hang with coworkers. My sister got along well with everyone too, so that was good. Wasn't a bad day, I guess.
But ugh, I've got an 8am meeting in the morning. Who does that, on a sunday morning? Only Subway. But they said some people might be getting fired after the meeting and people are going to be called out for stuff (it's been so bad lately, I hate going there, everyone talks and spreads shit and no one's happy) so I'm nervous, even though I have nothing to worry about. I just don't want them to accuse me of stuff I didn't do, or let me go cause I'm too slow. It's only been 2 months, I'll get faster! meh I hope I have a job tomorrow morning :(
Anyway, just downloaded the first episode of that True Blood show, and I'm really excited to watch it. I've always had a weird thing for vampires :)
