where do the nights go?
So...as should be expected..my wonderful employer has trained several new CNA's for dayshift...and as they await their state test...they have sucked up all the hours with their low pay rate selves...gawd i hate Rockhill..I mean..i let them know well in advance i'm coming back for the summer...give them my very open availability for the fall..and they go ahead and hire hire hire...jerk offs...ah well...anyways...there are hours on the 11p -7a shift..so that is where i find myself...and the pay is nicer with a 2.75 differential..but gaaaawd...it is so impossible to sleep when its so nice out...and sleeping outside is just too hot...sigh
on another note..i still love my car...despite the little incident on saturday...Luan and i were going to stone harbor for the day..and we left around 9 (after getting in a little spat over his 12 minute lateness...i was certainly the biotch of last week ;p)...and we went to walmart in hilltown to see if they had any umbrellas for the beach so he didnt get toasted (more time not on the road..hehe)..and as we left..i put the back window down on my side to put off turning the ac on for as long as i could stand it..well it makes this horrible noise..and refused to go back up...lucky for us we were so close to North Penn Imports..so i stopped by...made a fuss..and got my window fixed..2 hours later..we headed to the beach..and then there was all this traffic...we didnt put a foot onto the sand until 4pm..but it was nice..and we had a delicious dinner on Cape May Island..yum..and it was so nice to sleep on the way home and know that Luan would take care of the driving...he certainly comes in handy sometimes..hehe ( i love you, and you know it!)
so here's to a week of interupted sleep schedules..yippee
