Hello all, I know that it has been a few days so I thought I would update a little and let you all know where I was as far as packing. My days have pretty much become a blur of packing boxes, wrapping papers, and tape. But I am almost done, the truck will be here on Friday and we will begin the loading of everything I own into it for the move. June 1st is the official leaving day, this gives me a couple more days to say good-bye and get used to the idea of actually driving out and not coming back. The kids are psyched, mostly because they are going stir crazy right now with school out and nothing but each other to play with.
I wish it would rain, it would give me an excuse to sit on my ass for a bit and not just take short breaks. I am cooking something new tonight, a skillet meatloaf that I hope my oldest will like better than the baked version. I got a huge loaf of fresh baked french bread to butter, bake for a few minutes, and slice up. My famous mashed potatoes are on the menu as well, which usually brings cheers from the crowd and some fresh corn on the cob as well.
Talked to a dear friend of mine, Mark you know who you are, he has been forced by life to take a hiatus for a while from the computer, it is more than a little nice to come online and have a message from him. I hope that he geta back online soon, I miss our morning conversations very much.
:) Anyway guys, my break is almost over so I need to get back to the packing and the wrapping with the taping thing. I love you all, I hope to speak to you soon.
