蛇年 Outfits

I woke up on the first day of CNY undecided on what to wear actually. Since they said the lucky colours for bunny are yellow, green and blue, I decided to wear the Tasha Toga on the first day of Lunar New Year.

1. Love, Bonito Tasha Toga in Yellow, Size S

Cardigan: Topshop
Belt: H&M
Look, it has all the auspicious colours! I'm so gonna huat this year ahahahaha.

I only bought the toga in purple (review here) during the launch but I fell in like with the cutting and yellow was so tempting so in the end I got it from a seller. I know I said it wasn't worth $32 but it's $32 vs want and I wanted it more than the 32bucks :(

After wearing it for the whole day, I decided that I could have shown a little less of my right armpit if I had opted for XS hahaha but I doubt I can find anyone selling XS and I was too lazy to hunt any longer. Honestly the toga didn't felt too loose; it's actually a very comfortable fit and it didn't even expose the side of my bra. Just that XS woul definitely be a better fit i.e. the armholes of the toga would sit higher, exposing less of the armpits. But I like the length so it's all good :D

2. Smooch Alfie Studded Blouse in White, Free Size

Shorts: From City Plaza
(unworn for like 3 years, so still considered "new" right lol)
The blouse is freaking good stuff! It was luuuurve when I opened the parcel. Worth waiting for the bo to arrive. I really like Zara; their items are pretty much understated and classy but their prices are quite steep and some of their blouses are quite sheer -.- so when I saw this Zara inspired blouse it's a must buy!!! I bought it in both white and black. They have it in cornflower and peach too but I thought I'll just get two first hahah.

It's made of crepe chiffon (my fav material!) and even though it was lined, I could still see the outline of my white bra so it's slightly sheer. Out of curiosity I just went to try it on with a nude bra and I could still see the outline so yep, it's slightly sheer no matter what. What surprised me (pleasantly) was that the lining is attached to the blouse so there is no two pieces of cloth flapping about, makes tucking in an ease.

The studs are classy light gold in colour, not the dark gaudy kind. I can always expect good stuff from Smooch even though I don't purchase from them very often. This is only my second purchase I think, cuz I don't have an account with them and it's a hassle buying from them. The first purchase was the Embroidered Tulle Skirt.

I actually didn't quite fancy V-neck or cuffed sleeves and hardly buy any tops that features either, but the blouse makes everything so pretty and likeable! I even found the V-neck okay! Plus, I can always don't make use of the cuffs and just fold/ roll the sleeves up as per normal. I honestly like everything about the blouse and it looks so high street on its own, making it a great staple. If anyone manages to hunt it down I suggest you get it immediately.

Have a happy new year! :)

I'm a UK 6, 155cm
