The LB Moet Maxi is utterly boring considering the same old colours we see collection after collection. Nevertheless, it has an amazing lengthening effect due to the high cinch at the waist as well as the racer cut on both the back and the front. Material wise, it is rather heavy (and thicker than most other LB maxis). If you are someone who has not many maxis stocked up, this would be a good choice. Otherwise, I'd say give it a miss though it really goes well with the LB Batiste Belt.
The LB Karner Shift Dress in White (XS) is very form fitting and makes for a good shift dress. It is not as thick as those at Topshop or Zara, hence making it more comfortable to be in. The material is rather stretchy and it is honestly rather easy to move about in it. Down the front and back of the dress are vertical lines that help give the illusion of a slim figure. There is also an under bust horizontal line that is higher than the waist, lengthening the legs even though the overall length of the dress is rather long. I'd say that design wise, this is great for those who want to appear slimmer. However, my overly protruding hip bones can be overtly seen and it highly disturbs me. I'm letting this pretty piece go! The LB Daniele Dress is a dream come true. It is a princess' dress with a sweetheart neckline, naturally ruched bodice and tutu skirting. What's not to love? I chose to get this piece in Honey for the unique and (finally) different colour. It is what I'd like to think of as gold and goes pretty well with my tan skin. The bodice is rather long, as well as the skirt and therefore, makes me look shorter than I really am. It definitely has to be worn with heels, and is not one to be worn on a casual day. Yet, I'm thinking of carting out the Burgundy piece! It's so so so pretty.
The LB Danica Tweed Skirt is opulent, looks and feels very expensive. The tweed is thick and upon close scrutiny, exhibits such good workmanship. My only gripe is that the measurements on on the website are deceiving. I got this piece in size S based on the 11.5" measurement but this turns out to be too loose on me. I'm definitely not a 10.5" but I'll be exchanging it to size XS if LB still has stock. Otherwise, I'll have to alter it at the tailor's. If anyone would like to trade sizes with me, please email me at sherlynchanwp@gmail.com. Thank you (:
My ASOS purchases have arrived. Yay.
The dusty lilac blouse and cobalt assymmetrical dress are from Warehouse. I'd been eyeing both of them for really long at the store and decided to finally get them in lieu of Christmas, the season of shopping haha. The cat ears also finally arrived and the lace is very pretty. I especially like how the ears are assymetrical and the hairband is not painful behind my ears after wearing it for the whole day.
